TC-MNZ in mng-jetair-tui colours!!!

Post by TC-MNE »

hi,
I saw this picture of mng on Airliners.net:
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/792461/L/

the tc-mnz @ EBBR in tui-mng-jetair colours! great! :D
but why do they put the mng-logo on the tail, instead of the TUI-smile????
will they also do it with the tc-mne
:?:

Hello TC-MNE

Well that's a question I still ask myself too.
Maybe to be more 'recognizable'???

In every case it's nice to know that there are now 2 jetair A300's , but I still like the TC-MNE Turkish-hybrid the most.

Hope to see this beauty soon back in BRU.

Best regards: Yannick ;)

maybe they aren't allowed to do it of TUI, 'cause they're not a part of the TUI-group, mng is an independent company... and is not powered by tui or jetair

corsair, and futura also have planes in tui colours, and don't use the tui-smiles....

why :?:

The TC-MNE is older...
I'll fly in july to antalya with one of these two planes...I hope the TC-MNZ...

Hello

Well TC-MNE , might be that MNE is older than MNZ but still it's just the same plane so...and I really like a red tail more . Especially because it's a Turkish tail. And what gives a nice effect (in my opinion) is that Turkish doesn't have A300's and still you can see one (or at least a half) , could it be more nice?? A TUI/Turkish...

Best regards: Yannick ;)

mng, jetair, tui.... why is everything so difficult?
why don't they paint the mne and mnz in mng-pax colours (which is more beautiful than the tui-colours!) ... now, jetair-clients think it's a TUI airlines belgium plane... they don't see a difference...they have complaints about the seats, the food, the noise... and they have a bad opinion about TUI airlines Belgium...

Hello

That indeed could be a point. But I guess most pax don't even know how a Jetair plane looks like so they just think it's a MNG plane (because they booked by MNG) and than they're right. ;)

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Turkish A300

Post by scanjet »

At this moment Turkish Airlines is leasing two A300's from MNG and not one. The other one is the TC-MNY.

hello scanjet

are both planes still with turkish airlines, or will they return back to mng @ the beginning of the summerseason (april 2005)... I heard that tc-mne will again be in the tui colours, and 'll fly for the jetair company...and the mny will be in mng-pax colours, and will fly for the thomas cook group (neckermann, thomas cook, pegase), is that right :?:

Corsair is a member of the TUI family, but they kept the waves thank god (don't know why). Imagine a 744 with the smile... Would be *******.

Scanjet and all,

the 2 A300 that Turkish were using were for the Hadj, which ended 25/2 and so did the leases. TC-MNE will revert back to original TUI faded blue, MNZ we all know about and MNY will be BRU based for Thomas Cook Group as already stated and will operate in MNG c/s

So MNZ will be painted back in the normal colours ? That's a waste of money in my opinion..... Changing colours every few months.

But they could have directly painted it in full MNG colours since they knew that this plane would fly for ThomasCook.....

just to clarify summer colours

MNE - TUI faded blue, possibly having the MNG logo added to the tail, depended on how the Turkish stickers came off if they need to cover it up.
MNY - MNG Pax c/s, but possibly mainly white fuselage
MNZ - TUI blue / jet air titles, MNG tail logo on TUI blue
