Re: How to make good pictures: share your experience
Question:
I love to go and watch the aircrafts at Brussels.
Never done it with a camera before, and since i am on a budget, the most descend camera i could afford was a Fujifilm Finepix S8600.
I know, i will never get the pictures like the people with the DSLR's with this camera, but somehow i think it should be possible to take some descent pictures with it.
However, i know nothing about photography, so i hope someone here can help me with telling me what settings to use on my camera to get some pictures that are at least worthy to keep
Thanks

I saw some instructions on how to make drones visible in XP 10. Since the menu structure in 11 is different, how do I make them visible in X-Plane 11?
Is this simply done by adding all the AI Aircraft XP offers me?

Re: How to make good pictures: share your experience
Hi all,
I am looking to buy a camera. I have no experience at all, and as I am a student, I'm on budget. After searching a it, I came across this one. It is a Nikon d3400. It seems to be pretty well for beginners. I am thinking of buying it second-hand, like in the link below. A standard 18-55 lens is included. Has anyone experience with this camera? Or do you have any tips that I have to bear in mind? I would like to have it before I go to Israel, in the end of June

Has anyone experienced shooting with Canon or Sony mirrorless cameras ? I tried a Canon RP earlier this month but wasn’t impressed with the EVF compared to my old Canon DSLR...

Re: How to make good pictures: share your experience
I take the sharpest pictures at around f9, with my Sigma 50-500. But Robin Zartos is using a Canon 90-300, and he takes sharp pictures at f6
Re: How to make good pictures: share your experience
Creating good pictures involves a combination of technical skill, creativity, and an eye for composition. Here are some tips based on my experience and knowledge:
1. Understand your camera: Whether you're using a smartphone, a point-and-shoot camera, or a DSLR, take the time to learn its features and settings. Understand how to adjust exposure, focus, and white balance to get the results you want.
2. Pay attention to lighting: Good lighting can make or break a photo. Whenever possible, try to shoot during the golden hour (shortly after sunrise or before sunset) when the light is soft and flattering. Avoid harsh overhead sunlight, which can create harsh shadows.
3. Experiment with composition: Composition is key to creating visually appealing images. Learn about the rule of thirds, leading lines, symmetry, and other compositional techniques. Don't be afraid to experiment and try new angles and perspectives.
4. Consider the background: Pay attention to what's in the background of your photos. A cluttered or distracting background can take away from the main subject. Look for clean, uncluttered backgrounds that complement your subject.
5. Tell a story: Think about what you want your photo to communicate and how you can convey that message visually. Whether you're capturing a beautiful landscape, a portrait, or a still life, try to tell a story or evoke emotion with your images.
6. Edit thoughtfully: Editing can enhance your photos, but it's important not to overdo it. Use editing software like Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop to adjust exposure, contrast, color balance, and other aspects of your images. But remember to keep it natural and avoid heavy-handed edits that look unrealistic.
7. Practice, practice, practice: Like any skill, photography takes practice to master. Take every opportunity to shoot and experiment with different subjects, techniques, and styles. Don't be afraid to make mistakes – they're all part of the learning process.
By following these tips and continuing to refine your skills, you can create beautiful, compelling images that captivate viewers and tell stories.https://topfollowapks.com/
