Latest of Exel aviation group:

Big trouble.
Erik de Vlieger announced that the Exel group is on the edge of bankruptcy. SInce he was arrested lat week, exel must pay everything in advance on a cash base.
All debtors are looking for legal ways to get their money from the exel group.
The CEO who started three weeks ago already resigned (this morning after a public statement of erik de vlieger about the financial situation). He did not agree with erik.
Rumours are now that de the former ceo of exel mr H prins now is again a prime candidate to run the exel group.

Mr Prins also informed the press that the KLM caused the financial problems of the exel group (newspaper and television).

For belgium it means that the future of Belgium Exel is very unsure.

I don't thing (but it's my mind) that's not KLM the only cause of Exel's financials problems

AlsaceExel and LoireExel who are operated under the Exel group AOC are not reliable.

The DAGC who gives subsidies (+/-2mio€ each) to these companies for OSP (obligation de service public) said that these companies can't go bankrupt because the Exel was a strong company.

All 767 of Belgium and Holland Exel are operating normal !!
Any other rumours are false !
Any how ...Belgium Exel is an NV and has no depts whatsoever and several candidates are interrested to take over Belgium Exel in case of "concordaat " accepted by the judge .
But as we don't have a magical cristal ball, we'll have to be patient and wait for more news the coming days !

P.S: Thomas Coock Belgium needs us to bring his clients to Cuba, Dominican, Mexico and Kenia
There is no alternative so far.

With all respect for Air Exel: they only operate 1 x Embraer 145, from Eindhoven.

Euh I doubt if there are really candidates to take over BelgiumExel....Investers should be really stupid to take over a company without AOC!! And I also doubt they will get one very soon....

Plse note :

Belgium Exel doesn t have a Belgian AOC !!

And also note that IF it would be like that... that TCW has a back-up...

The AOC of Belgium Exel is ready for 90 % and approved !!!!
And who doesn't say they can operate with the AOC of another carrier, maybe Thomas Coock ???
Any how, wait and see
And like I said before....Belgium Exel has no debts and falls under Belgian juridiction. We'll have to be patient and will know more the coming days.

In France all activities of the local Exel-companies have stopped !!!!
Strasbourg-AMS is cancelled,Loire-Exel is finished...
It would be wishful thinking to believe de Vlieger has any sound company - the whole holding-structure stinks from top to bottom....
It's all a huge money-laundry...
Some people need a little longer to wake up...
