As Japan is officially in a recession, it will take them longer to increase the number of flights.

That's not a reason it's a very small recession(it's not a crisis)you will not feel this in air transport to and from Japan!

Yes, but not an increase to be excited about. The sole purpose of this extra flight is to keep the slot warm for UA when they need it again, this extra flight only bleeds money as the extra capacity is not needed.
So UA is paying for it or how does this work?

Don't be too optimistic about it. The whole Asia part is not recovered from the covid story and business in general is still suffering a lot the last 4 years. It's not just a small recession, it's much deeper

I don't know it's not what I hear in my business, Singapore is coming back to Brussels also you mentioned Thai,Cathay is doing very good etc...
I think it's a strategic choice from ANA not to expand out of the big hubs for the moment.

And don't forget that ANA is increasing frequencies for many European destinations, except for BRU...
Don't think the problem is the Japanese recession then. Or they wouldn't increase that much in the others.

Singapore Airlines will codeshare on more Brussels Airlines flights.

As from 6th April SQ will codeshare on flights from Brussels to Berlin, Oslo and Stockholm

As Atlantis stated they’re correct.

Got a message from SN today for a reschedule of a booked BRU-HAM flight later this year. According to our travel agency SN decreased the nr of daily flights from 3 to 2. Is this correct?
Apologies if it was mentioned here before. Might have missed it.
Or is it only an occasional change? (Operational issues?)

Seems correct as I can see only a morning and evening flight

Air Arabia is not only adding Tetouan, but also Rabat twice weekly starting 3 May.

Any more news about Hainan or Juneyao to Hainan?
More routes from SN for summer? Or it will be only Krakow and Nairobi? And no Billund, Bordeaux, Birmingham...

Regarding Air Arabia and Rabat was already mentioned by Miqvell.

For SN is only Krakow and Nairobi + less frequencies on certain business routes to offer more to leisure.

As Hainan will add the third route, I don't think we will see Juneyao. But I can be wrong

I don't remember any rumors calling for mid-2024, but it should be next winter if it stays as planned ;)

Is this sure? They didn't officially announce it if I'm correct?

Correct, nothing official yet. No exact date, frequencies or type of aircraft

The foreign ministers announced it, but we have no idea about the airline. Juneyao is more popular in Shanghai than Hainan, but Juneyao is less known in Europe.

Air Canada changed again their intercontinental flights. Montreal to Brussels stays 1 flight a day but with the A333 instead of the B777.
Toronto will stay seasonal this year and also not daily. Instead even one flight less 4 flights instead of previous 5.

It was known for a while already. Was Toronto-seasonal only confirmed anywhere ?
