FS 2004: Release Date for Belgium?

Post by Apuneger »

Hi guys,

I was wondering, does anybody know when FS2004 will hit the stores in Belgium? I'm pretty anxious to get it.

At this moment, my system is getting pretty old, so it's been a while since I've done some serious IFR, but I'm anxious to get back into it, familiarize myself with a couple of aircraft (payware probably, such as DC9, Boeing 727, Boeing 737 and LAGO F16) and start (virtual) flying more often again (with a totally new PC system of course :-) .

Small update: checking the countdown ticker on www.lhshop.nl, it appears as if FS2004 will be released in The Netherlands (!) coming friday...

I checked the FNAC in Brussels yesterday and I was told that they would have FS2004 in the store starting from September. :(

I ordered a copy from Proxis.be (the site mentions a release date of July 29) but I have no idea when they will be able to ship it...

Cheers,
Wim.

Only as from september? If that's the case, I'll give www.lhshop.nl a call, and if they have it, I'll go and pick it up myself I think. It'll take only 5 hours or so :-)

Another small update: 'Het Computerwinkeltje' (www.hcw.be) expects FS2004 to be available from their shelves as from August 4th. It'll cost approx. € 72.90.

Hi, me again LOL

Does anybody know if FS2004 comes on a DVD or on CD-ROM's?

If it's on a DVD, I'll have to get myself a new PC ASAP...

I got FS 2004 two days ago, in a tin box. It comes in 4 CD-roms. so you wont have to upgrade to a DVD drive. The bad news is you have to have disk 4 in the drive to fly. Haven't had much time to explore but some sunsets that I have seen are spectacular.

I guess it won't be long until a crack can be found such that, once applied, CD 4 must no
llonger be in the drive in order to run...

www.hcw.be also has Fs2004, but only packed in the DVD box.

I think I'm going to order the tin box limited edition from www.amazon.com, unless somebody over here can come up with another idea on how to lead me to a tin box FS2004 package ;-)
