Warning: Ryanair meltdown ongoing: do not book

Post by Flanker2 »

Ryanair's website and app are experiencing a total meltdown since an update two days ago.

I advise people not to book until resolved.

These are the issues I have noted so far

-Intermittent issues logging in on the website, the website now asks a code sent via e-mail but often the codes don't work and it puts you in a loop where it keeps sending you new codes and you keep trying to enter them.
-Impossible to retrieve bookings even after logging in
-Difficulties checking in
-Check-in displays weird things with regards to seat assignments even if you don't choose a seat, it shows that you chose one
-Booking best retrieved using booking number and e-mail address instead of through the profile
-Flight bookings, money is taken but no confirmation received
-Parking and other ancillary bookings payments taken but no confirmation follows
-Phone numbers deleted from the website, only a chatbot gives useless answers.
-Facebook DM's, no response.

Total F*'+k-up

Complaints are piling up on their Facebook account.
Total mess.

It looks like the issues have been resolved.
The website seems to be working again.
