Air Namibia and Challenge Air (Belgium) dispute draws in Namibia’s railroad operator TransNamib, which maintains it is not a party to the settlement agreement entered into between the two companies. Challenge Air is seeking payment from TransNamib.

Challenge Group (Malta) is aiming to triple the size of its fleet over the next five years with the addition of four B767Fs and four B777F converted aircraft. The Group also applied for a new AOC in Malta. A blow to the Belgian company of the Group?

CAL Cargo (Israel) is rebranded to Challenge Airlines IL as it moves into a new headquarter building in Tel Aviv. It currently operates a fleet of two B747s, however, two B767s are in the process of being converted to freighters.

Challenge Group (Malta) reveals it acquired EASA 145 / BCAA third-party line maintenance service provider, JETMX (Iceland) in September 2021, and was renamed Challenge Technic thereafter.

Challenge Airlines MT received its AOC. The carrier has a fleet of two B767-300ERs, both with a payload of 60 tonnes each.
