On its way back now as SN9904.
No pictures yet of the bird? I thought there was a sort of inauguration event planned to unveil the new c/s?
Some picture has been posted internally so I can't post them, but given the fact the sky was greyish in background, it doesn't look as nice as when it's a clear blue sky. This is maybe why they didn't posted it publicaly.

Anyway, regarding flight radar, SFX is planned to operate Bujumbura-Entebbe on 6th April, maybe some spoter will publish something.

It looks better on the 330 than the 32S

How about the progress of repainting the 32S fleet by the way? Where are we? 50% repainted?

Most likely the 319 leaving the fleet and being replaced with 320NEOs in the coming years won't need new colors.

Not bad... even if I still fail to see any belgian touch. I used to like the b-xxx concept.

Good news ! It seems that SN is recovering faster than the others airlines @ BRU. I am quite sure that their current market share is about 50%.

Why such a statement?
Which other airlines @ BRU do you compare with SN?

There are 2 SN A330s at Entebbe this evening. I guess that one flight was supposed to be operated yesterday but due the closure the runway airport after RwandAir incident, flight was canceled:

SN 1455 BJM-EBB-BRU
SN 465: KGL-EBB-BRU

As we're slowly reaching mid 2022 and the NEO's are foreseen in 2023: any news on where SN is with this project please? I'm also curious to see what the high level process is to introduce a new type to the existing fleet?

Beside sharklets and engines there are no major differences between the CEO and NEO, so don’t expect too much fuss.

Okay, wasn't interested in fuzz but just curious and interested in how the onboarding process of a new aircraft looks like. Looking forward to these NEO's even though the differences are small.

Don’t forget the maintenance side of things. Even though MX is not as visible from the outside world, introducing a new type, even if it is a derivative, is no small feat. Even a new engine type can cause quite some headaches. (Ref. the introduction of the RR engine on the A330 at BEL).

Are the results of Brussels Airlines that came out today not dramatic or is it just me?
If you compare to other airlines results and the high ticket prices?

For Q1, I wouldn't call this dramatic.
Wait and see for the coming months.

It's just you to be straight. If you compare to the same group, it's not bad. Austrian Airlines is the one with big problems. Their loss is even higher now than last year. Can you imagine this??!!
Swiss is also not doing OK. Loss of 47 CHF.

Don't compare with klm/af bcs that's a complete other league.

Don't forget that SN only received a small loan of Lufthansa and the Belgian government. They only asked this for once. So compared to this, the result is not bad at all.

If we compare how much klm/af asked and many times asked for extra, I can only applaud for SN that they did a great job in very difficult times. And the result is visible, 2 extra medium haul planes and one extra long haul plane.
And next year brand new neo's via Lufthansa
