Hello
Anynone know what happened to the RwandAir A330-300 9XP-WP. The aircraft is grounded at Brussels since now 2 days This is the second time in one week that WP has a problem.
Last week the aircraft stayed 2 days at London due a technical issue.
The result is that the 3 last Brussels-Kigali leg were canceled. The airline has also canceled its London-Kigali flight because the KGL-LHR flight was supposed to be operated by 9XR-WP.
It's not common sight at RwandAir. Many people complain on twitter about the lack of communication from RwandAir

Brussels Airlines flight SN359 to Luanda and Kinshasa, operated by Airbus A330-300 OO-SFC, returned to Brussels after having reached Algeria. It landed at BRU at 18:00, some 7 hours after departure. The reason was a hydraulic leakage. A long trip to nowhere! The flight and its return leg to Brussels were subsequently cancelled.

Maybe not an anomaly but...
the day before yesterday, a B737 from TUI passed right over my house, really low as well.
I live in Heverlee and this is the first time ever that I saw a plane doing this approach. If I look at the final approach pattern, the plane lined up REALLY LATE with the runway
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/airc ... p#2ea7fcf2
Anyone here knows why?
Or is this a known approach route that is rarely ever used?

Ryanair Boeing 737-800, registration EI-DCZ performing flight FR-2101 from Brussels South Charleroi (Belgium) to Bucharest Otopeni (Romania) with 176 passengers and 9 crew (!), was en route at FL370 in Slovak airspace about 60nm north of Budapest (Hungary) when the crew decided to divert to Budapest reporting they suspected a fuel leak at the right-hand engine but needed no assistance on the ground.
