After a little more than one hour on the ground at LGG, OO-SSB (SN2906) continued to BRU as BEL3PP and 9H-QCZ (FR5236) continued to CRL as FR52.

Correction : seems FR flew back to Charleroi North.

They were supposed to operate FR5235 to PSA STD 20:00.

My mistake. That flight FR5236 had indeed BRU as destination.

This morning, OO-TMY, flying TB1073, was circling for about half an hour above OST at around14:00 h, tried to land twice and finally diverted to Brussels.
Two hours later, it returned to OST, and went on to AGP with about 3 hours delay.
Was this because of fog in OST?

Duke

I would assume so.
Historic METAR data shows fog around 100-200 feet at that time, and EBOS is only equipped with ILS CAT I (or equivalent minima on LPV approaches), so they may not have been able to land there.

Dense fog at times, also for this arrival diverting to ANR after a couple of holdings.

Reason for return: "minor engine trouble"

Aircraft is still AOG in Brussels, almost 5 days after that return.

What happened to OO-SNF?
Seems it was stuck in TFS for two days on January 25th and 26th?
Now on its return leg to BRU.

Duke

Welcome to Aviation24.be, Parparm!

Brussels Airlines Airbus A320 registered OO-SNF (Tomorrowland livery) operating flight SN3290 from TLV to BRU indeed diverted to Antalya after flying close to Rhodos. It landed at 16:00 UTC. As repair seemed impossible in a short time, the continuation of the flight to Brussels has been cancelled.
SN3290.JPG
Brussels Airlines is sending a replacement aircraft, A320 registered OO-TCV, to pick up the stranded passengers. It should arrive in Antalya at 12:00 local time. I guess the passengers have been accommodated in one of the several holiday hotels of the area.
