Lufthansa Group continues to be convinced that Lufthansa Technik should remain an integral part of the Group, however, it is equally convinced the minority sale or a partial IPO will enable the unit to realize its full potential.

Lufthansa sees no further significant restructuring costs in 2022, a relief after reorganisation efforts amid the pandemic weighed on its results in late 2020 and throughout 2021. The carrier added it would sell the rest of its LSG catering unit as soon as it can get an offer that corresponds to its value.

Their overall service has definitely gone down since Covid. They used to be a reliable and performing company, but the last couple of months this has changed. No surprise they lost their 5* ranking. Can only agree that at this stage they are closer to 3* than to 5*. Hope they get back on the right track in the nearby future.
