Emergency landing at BRU?

Post by Sabena_690 »

Hi guys,

While I was just eating, I heard a plane coming over my house very low. I rushed outside, and saw a plane with a blue belly dumping fuel, and flying in the direction of Brussels (about 50km from here).

It was already quite far, but I think it had a blue belly (so maybe BA?). It was also a quite large aircraft as far as I could see it (with the clouds etc).

Anyone has more information?

Thanks and regards

It was the 2nd time in 30 minuts time that I heard an aircraft coming over very low. And this afternoon, some F-16´s were playing over here....

Where are you living, 50 km from BRU, to have aircraft flying so low over you?

Emergency landing at BRU?

Hi André,

I´m from Gent.

Normally the aircrafts aren´t so low over here, so every time I hear one flying low, I go outside to spot it.

But this one flew really very very low, and was clearly dumping fuel... it flew in the direction of BRU.
LOL AirDD!!

Well, although Belgium has very good beers, I wasn't drunk at that time!

By the way: an investigation of BIAC turned out that nothing is known about a fuel dump... I'm still sure I saw a fuel dump, but apparently it was something else... still can't believe it!

Regards
Frederic
