flying as an extra crew member?

Post by fi_la_belga »

Hello,

I am Belgian, but I am already living for three years in Tenerife. I have experience with flying as an extra crew member in Spain (Madrid Barajas, Sevilla, Tenerife North and South, La Palma, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria), but I would like to know if it is very difficult to get for free on an airplane in Brussels Airport, with only my licence :? Do you have to get onto the apron to talk to the captain or can you talk to them in the offices in the airport.

If anybody needs some more info about the Spanish airports, here I am, so please if you have some info let me know.

Thanks

I think that the fraternity is very kind to fellow colleagues of aviation.

One can request the station manager of the airline and yes the commander of the aircraft and under the provision of a JUMP SEAT they can be accomodated.
Aum Sweet Aum.

Of course this is also possible in Brussels. I have flowm on a jumpseat as extra crew with an Iberworld plane.
If you get the authorisation of the captain or the station manager this is not a problem. They are always the one deciding who can come with them on board.
