ATR aircraft news

Post by sn26567 »

ATR delivered 10 aircraft in 2020, down from 68 units in 2019, as revenues fell to €819 million and EBITA losses widened to €91 million.

Czech Airlines operated its last ATR flight, as the aircraft are in the process of redelivery, thus reducing the fleet to three types.

ATR deliveries plunged to an 18-year low in 2020, to 10 aircraft, compared with 68 reported for 2019, while new orders shrank to six from 52. ATR aims to double deliveries in 2021.

ATR to strengthen its global presence in the next decade as recovery plans include the implementation of incremental improvements into the aircraft family, along with the enhancement of operational efficiency and reduction of maintenance costs through system upgrades and state-of-the-art avionics.
