Well, I think it's the 02 beacause they are flying over my house ...

ATM= Haze, 4°C, feels like 2° C, ENE (60°) 10km/h, visibility 4km, dew point 3°C, humidity 93%

Expected= Partly clouded, 10°C, ENE 18km/h

Have a nice day

Nothing over my house, so probably 02 like blackhawk said!

Weather : overcast (had some sun at around 9 am). Not very good spotting weather. Tomorrow will be much better!

Robin,

If there are low wind speeds, less than 5 to 10 knots than is the dispersion plan the only solution and the take off and landing runways are given. For higher wind speed there is a system that looks at the cross and tail winds and with this info it decides wich runway(combination) is the best. So then there is no info of taking off and landing, but in normal situations when 25L/R is in use 25L is landing and 25R is a combination of both. There are also combinations possible with 25L and 20 like last summer when 25R was in maintenance, but these situations are almost not able to be included in the system.

Greetz,

Dave

At this moment is 25R in use for landing and 20 for take-off.

Is this due to ILS calibration?
If so, does this mean that 25R will be closed in the afternoon?

25R is now for landing and take-off, 20 only take-off.

No idea why 25L is closed.

Isn't it every Sunday closed between 06:00 and 17:00 local time due to the dispersion plan? I guess so, unless the wind speed & direction doesn't allow to follow this plan.

Wind forecast is provided in the calculator, maximum outlook 24 hours.
To have a clue beyond 24 hours check out some weather sites. In my web there is a 1-3 day forecast for wind direction via this link. An overview of the other forecasts & current weather viathis link.

Concluding SW'ly wind on 05/01/05: so normally 25L for landing, 25R for t/o.

So a change to 20 could be possible?

During forenoon they will swith to 02, but when exactly I don't know. It starts with a windspeed exceeding 6KT. By the time of departure, for surely rwy 02/07L/07R will be in use and the USA will depart on 02 . So you have 2 chances.
