LOT Polish Airlines to receive another state aid package of US$698 million, as the airline is expected to run out of liquidity at the end of December 2021.

Lufthansa could potentially be interested in LOT Polish Airlines, one of four airlines that the German carrier is interested in.

Boeing said while the lease agreements grant LOT Polish Airlines the right to express warranty claims, the airline has ignored those rights and Boeing wants out of the B737 MAX contract.

I'm curious what your source is, I've tried searching and can't find any news links about LH looking at LO.

I'm also curious what the other three airlines are.

I'm guessing ITA would be one, and I could see them possibly bring interested in TAP . Would you care to enlighten me ?

Embraer and LOT Polish Airlines have signed a contract to renew and expand the Pool Programme to support LOT’s fleet of E-Jets. In the new agreement, LOT will also add seven E-Jets to the original contract, with the Pool now covering a total of 44 aircraft and over 300 components.

My best guess would be that LOT plans to use one type of the aircraft, let's say the A220 to operate from their biggest base in Warsaw, whilst the E-Jets can be stationed in the other bases, like Budapest for example, thus operating both fleets next to each other. This would of course mean a big expansion of their fleet.

They will stay with Boeing. BTW, there was no news anymore regarding the replacement of their short haul planes
