Embraer may launch a P2F conversion programme for the E190-E1 and E195-E1 in 2022. The aircraft would carry around 14 tonnes of cargo up to a range of 2,000 nm.

US lessor Azorra has signed an agreement with Embraer to acquire 20 new E2 family aircraft, plus a further 30 purchase rights. This flexible deal enables Azorra to acquire E190-E2 or E195-E2 aircraft. At list prices, the order is valued at US$3.9 billion. Deliveries will begin in 2023.

Brazilian airline Azul announces the world’s first Embraer Class F freighter, which expands the cargo capacity of the E195-E1 from 7 to 15 tonnes, significantly leveraging its low trip cost to help Azul Cargo transform logistics in Brazil.

Embraer board approved a three-year pause in its E175-E2 jet development programme, due to the ongoing US mainline scope clause discussions, current global market conditions and the continuing interest in the current E175 in the US market. The new EIS is now between 2027 and 2028.

This morning the Tech Shark new Profit Hunter E190-E2 was in Kigali and it made a demonstration flight (with the Rwandan press on board and thus the removing of the article on The New Times Rwanda?)

Slowly but surely, Air Madagascar continues its march towards recovery. The next step for the national airline which operates through Madagascar Airlines may be the operation of an Embraer E190-E2.
According to flightradar24, the E2 left TNR this morning flying to the North.

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) will be a launch lessor of the E-Jet P2F conversions. NAC and Embraer have reached an agreement in principle to take up to 10 conversion slots for E190F/E195F, with the first deliveries starting in 2024. Aircraft for conversion will come from NAC’s existing E190/E195 fleet.

Embraer has signed a firm order for up to 10 Embraer E-Jets P2F conversions with an undisclosed customer. Aircraft for conversion will come from the customer’s current E-Jets fleet, with deliveries starting in 2024.

SkyWest anticipates placing 47 E175s into service under three previously announced agreements by early 2023. As of 30 June 2022, 30 aircraft were delivered and 17 aircraft have deliveries scheduled through early 2023. By mid-2023, SkyWest is scheduled to operate a total of 240 E175s.

SalamAir of Oman signed an MOU with Embraer to purchase 12 all-new E195-E2, with the delivery of the first three E2 by November 2023 to end that year with six aircraft, and the remaining aircraft to be delivered gradually over the following months.
