First BA A321 DUE BRU Saturday 16/10/2004

Post by Sabena_690 »

Hi all,

The first BA A321, G-EUXC, will touch down shortly at LHR where it is expected today (15/10) at 17.15lt!

Brussels is one of the first airports that will be served, as G-EUXC is DUE Brussels tomorrow (Saturday) at 21h40 on BA404!

The aircraft will nightstop, and leave again on Sunday at 7h45 (BA404).

Due to the fact that it only arrives this evening at LHR, it's very well possible that this LHR-BRU-LHR return will be the 2 first scheduled flights for this aircraft.

Any pictures of this bird would be greatly appreciated! If the weather is fine, it must be possible to catch it on departure on Sunday morning (if you want to get up early of course ;)).

There are 2 A321 flights scheduled for Thursday 18/10:
LHR-BRU 0700-0910
BRU-LHR 1025-1040

LHR-BRU 1935-2140 (nighstopping, leaving the next morning at 0745).

Please beware: THIS INFO IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE!!!!

G-EUXD is scheduled to be delivered on 28/10, G-EUXE on 29/10 and G-EUXF on 04/11.

Regards
Frederic

@Bart: brand new!

BA still have the following aircraft on order:
x 3 A319's
x 5 A320's
x 10 A321's (of which 4 will be transfered to GB Airways)

@Tommy: I read on the LHR yahoogroup that G-EUXC would be DUE today... And the fact that an A321 would soon visit BRU is logic due to the following reason: only a few EU destinations are served from T4 at LHR (the only terminal from which the A321 will operate at the moment), and BRU is one of those destinations served from T4.

Checking flight schedules is easy (try www.amadeus.net for example).

The flight to BRU is scheduled into the computer systems of BAA so, unless something changes at the last minute, this flight will normally show up at BRU as planned!

Thanks to MikeBezz for the info!

Below is the flight schedule of Saturday 16/10 of G-EUXC (Copyright MikeBezz):

BA304 LHR-CDG 0720/0940
BA307 CDG-LHR 1050/1115
BA716 LHR-ZRH 1340/1630
BA717 ZRH-LHR 1710/1755
BA404 LHR-BRU 1935/2140
nightstops at BRU

Already a busy flight schedule for this new bird!

Hello spotters!

Supergreat! Back bigger BA's at BRU.
I was already bored to see almost only A319's of British airways
at BRU.And the saddest thing was that the B757and B767 from
BA stopped serving BRU. :(

But now it looks like there is going to change a bit.Always nice
to see more 321's at BRU.
Looking forward to meet this bird.

Got some information (thanks Tom) about the loads of those 2 flights, the status at 14h this afternoon was:

x BA404 this evening: 120 pax in Y, 10 in C
x BA389 tomorrow morning: 100 pax in Y, 25 in C

25 in C is very good, but I think that A319's and A320's are big enough for this route.

Anyway, it's nice to see the A321 over here...

Gentlemen
I havejust seen BAW389 departing BRU at 0801 local time. It looked wonderful even in the bitter cold and dull conditions here today. According to my sources its going to LOWW/VIE and LFPG/CDG later on today.
Additional info:
EXH002 E135 Legacy HB-JEA PTD 1415 local
BTI601 B735 YL-BBA PTA 1215
Not much else to report at this early stage. No outbound plan on the Samara.
