KLM cancels flights due to limited runway capacity at Amsterdam Schiphol
Due to the expected storm tomorrow, Tuesday 8 January 2019, there is very limited runway capacity at Schiphol. Only one runway can be taken into use. That is why KLM decided to cancel 159 European return flights for Tuesday. The passengers concerned have been informed and rerouted today. KLM advise passengers to keep a close eye on KLM.com for the most up-to-date departure and arrival information. Not only KLM is cancelling flights: no less than 25% of all Amsterdam Schiphol flights of 8 January are already cancelled.

The airline is part of the Air Nostrum Group (Spain), just like CityJet. Why two Irish affiliates?
