Tonight I received sad news about Marc Moyson, the owner of CTC Moyson & CTC Moyson Airport Equipment, Marc Moyson passed away after battling cancer. He was 57 years old.
CTC Moyson AE is active at Brussels Airport for several years now. They are a maintenance partner for GSE equipment around the airport, they are also a supplier and maintenance partner for vehicles (CTC Moyson is also an Opel dealership). Besides the maintenance they also trade in (mostly second hand) GSE material around the world. At Brussels Airport they have an hangar (building 114) where they carry out maintenance.
Marc leaves a wife and 3 children behind who will continue to run the businesses.
Personally I knew Marc for over a decade, first when I became a customer through one of my previous employers, later he became a quite good friend. He took me a couple of times to Brussels Airport where he guided me through every nook and cranny at the airport. Marc was known everywhere and this resulted in being able to access everywhere where a simple soul couldn't go. It was always fun to be at the airport with him. While I was more interested in the planes he was the GSE guy and made it successfully his business. Philanthropy was also something important to him, many local organisations had him as a sponsor and so did our non profit organisation that maintains and promotes an oldtimer fire truck. During the years he painted our truck twice free of charge and also supported our Oktoberfest, a musical festival that benefits our oldtimer. Also during our open house days at the fire department (and many other departments and organisations) he was a happily seen guest, not only as a sponsor but just as a friend having a good time and drinking some beers while talking for hours. He was also a board member of one of our local soccer clubs, SK Londerzeel which he was very passionate about.
He'll be missed by many

May he rest in peace
