Hi. I was wondering what everyone's favorite general aviation aircraft was. For me, it would be either the Aviat Husky or the Cirrus SR-22. In fact, we are currently looking at buying a Cirrus SRV (the less powerful version of the SR-22).
Yup Cirrus do make great aircraft! The inside is a real GA revolution too : sidesticks, Garmin avionics and a huge MFD. Cool stuff!
My exotic GA favorite has to be the Lancair IV-P pulled along by a 350hp twin turbocharged Continental, cruises at around 300 kts.
Seaplanes? Got to be the Seawind 3000.
And standard? well the love of my early flying days was an aircraft that isn't certified by the FAA, a French 4 seater called the Robin DR-400/140.
Sorry, I don't have any shots of these but if you search for the types on airliners.net, they'll all come up!
