Iberia A343 now at Brussels!!! (01/08/04 11h15lt)

Post by Sabena_690 »

Hi all,

Just got an sms from a spotter at BRU that a few moments ago (around 11h15), an IB A343 landed at the 02 at BRU!!

The flight was coming from MAD, and is leaving again at 12h15 as IB3203 to MAD.

Hope that the photographers see this in time...

I was there as well (guess who send the sms to Fred :D ). Saw it landing on 02 while standing at 127bis. Fortunately, it departed back from 07R around 12h40 local time.

Thanks once again Ivan ;)

@Ivan: is it possible to take take-off shots at the 127bis? A week ago, there were too many bushes to be able to take a decent shot.

Maybe it came to BRU to be cleaned, because that plane is soooo dirty :D

Anyway, nice pic (too bad this is a rare sight at Brussels) ;)

Bottie:

Thanks for the compliments.

Flying Belgian:

I missed the BG DC-10 and decided not to wait for her departure. But I also saw (from 127bis) the AZ ERJ170 coming in on 02 as well as that 727. Was that an Air Algerie one? It had more of an Air Contractors one.

I was spotting at BRU from 07h30 till 17h00. A long day at 02 ;-) . But a nice one

There were two Boeing 727's

- N211DB "landed at 11h55 parked at the satelite pier"
- 7T-VEX "Air Algerie"

and many other nice birds ;-)

Ivan,

SilverJet explained it all !!! I saw both 727.

7T-VEX was inbound from Oran.

See ya.

Where was this A343 parked during its visit? At the A-pier? Or as an exception at the B-pier in the neighbourhood of BGS-material?

Since I was spotting @ BRU that thay, I saw her landing, a nice one just like a glider....

I'm not sure anymore, but I think she was coming from the A-Pier, saw her taxiing towards rwy 07R for departure.

The A340 was parked at the Pier-A, stand 153L. BGS has enough -to much- equipment at the Pier-A to handle their flights.
The IB-flight is also a full schengen rotation and isn't allowed to park at Pier-B.
