Nordica plans to employ a further 250 people in the coming months as it expands rapidly in the near future. The State also plans to privatise the carrier, as all Nordica-related companies will be merged into a single group at the start of 2023. Lastly, following the recent delivery of its first A320, there will be a least six more aircraft by summer 2023.

Nordica is recruiting crews in Germany and is aiming to open bases in Hamburg and Munich to start A320 operations for a new European customer in March 2023. The airline will increase its fleet by four A320neo units.

Not sure if it fits here, but after losing service (again), Tartu City and Airport are looking into establishing a new Tartu International Airlines (funded by a General Interest subsidy).

Tartu has been served in the past by Finnair, airBaltic and Estonian Air, but the flights have never been profitable.
Tartu is a 2h drive from Tallinn only, and although the capital of Southern Estonia and having the biggest University, hardly has 100,000 citizens.

For sale: Nordica (Xfly)

Nordica anyway flies mainly routes outside of Estonia, so I never understood why the Estonian Government kept ownership for so long
