Re: LGG 20/04/2015 AN26
Liège has welcomed the first batch of 387 Chinese tourists this morning at 06:50. First destination on their European tour: Maasmechelen Village for shopping! Nothing more interesting to show in Belgium?
tangolima, do you have the flight number? I couldn't see them on FR24, and I don't think they were on flight TAY2 (747F from Shanghai). The only thing I know: it is an A330 from Russian airline I-Fly

at least one of the busses made a "photo-stop" at the bridge of Fragnée and at the foot of "Montagne de Bueren" !!sn26567 wrote: First destination on their European tour: Maasmechelen Village for shopping! Nothing more interesting to show in Belgium?
Since the service is very new, there is an opportunity for the Belgian tourist offices to propose (step by step) to keep them more than a few hours in our country: don't forget they have only 8 days and their main "holiday dream" is to see Paris, Amsterdam and other "ultra worldknown places" ...... the choice of the landing place only guided (at least in a first step) by the central location to keep the bus transfers as short as possible .
The first step was to attract them here, the "necessary step", before trying to propose additional stop in our country (important as we know they buy a lot during their short holiday)
