Hi guys,
Would air traffic controllers have a chance for a fam. flight and/or a visit at the company ops. in these days? If yes, who would be the contact person?
Another question: is DAT considering reopening the BUD flight sometimes in the near future?
Cheers

Heading 370,

They told us that Budapest is a low-yield destination. So in the future no flights to BUD

If you are an air traffic controller I thought you can walk into the cockpit before a flight with you ID and ask if you could make a flight on the jumpseat. Rules have been changed ???

greetings,
Well, when I fly as a normal passenger, I normally do that!
Right now I´m not planning any such flights with DAT (although I would like to) but I really would like to go on an official fam. flight which means spend the whole time in the cockpit during the entire flight, preferably through the airspace where I normally work. (eg. to Hamburg or any Scandinavian destinations) In my opinion these visits are great to get to know a little bit the crew we talk to every day on the frequency and we may find the answers to many so far unanswered questions as well!
But I suppose I need to formally request it somehow. My question is how, and from who.
Thanks.
