hi everyone,
my father is very sick and i need to get home, one call and it was booked through a travel agent. JAL came up the cheapest and they had availability on the dates i requested, so JAL it is then. I was wondering if anyone else had done this trip? my intinerarary is as follows.
FLIGHT JL 404 BOEING 777
LONDON HEATHROW - NARITA @ 2100 26/07/04
FLIGHT JL 761 BOEING 747 -400
NARITA - BRISBANE @ 2135 27/07/04
FLIGHT JL 762 BOEING 747 - 400
BRISBANE - NARITA @ 0855 25/10/04
FLIGHT JL 401 BOEING 747 - 400
NARITA - LONDON HEATHROW @ 1200 26/10/04
On my return trip there is the obligatory stop over in the airline's hotel, so at least I can have a shower and a sleep. I was just wondering if JAL are a good airline (serviced by QA aren't they??), basically if I will be safe and if the cabin crew are good, etc etc etc.... my other option would have been with Korean, but I think i chose the right one from gut instinct, just wanted to know what to expect.
Hope you can share your views.
Thanks
Ian
LHR - BNE via NRT and back, anyone done it??
Hi Ian,
Welcome to Luchtzak.
I've never flown them myself so the following lines are just "I've heard" kind of stuff.
Several of my friends fly JAL quite regularly and are generally happy with them. I think if you're out there competing with CX, QA and the like, you'd better have your service right or you'd be out of business in weeks... food and beverage with JAL is fine. Enjoy!
Hope your father gets well soon,
Many happy landings,
