Hello

I wish I could but I'm afraid you will not see them appearing unfortunatly. Like usually ...
You'll have to take your chances on it. However I do can tell you that it is to be expected that the Japanese delegation will most probably arrive on the 3th already, but is that between noon and evenong, or before noon, I couldn't tell ...
Furthermore Airforce One is to my personal expectations not to be expected many hours before start of the summit. I think this time Obama will come straight from the plane to the meeting roundtable. So I also only expect him to arrive between 18-19hrs local time, but hey that is just my prediction. However we might see some 'leaks' as it departs Warsaw for Brussels, if we can contact spotters there in Poland we know it will be here in Brussels about 2hrs later then departure in Warsaw.

Italy, UK, France and Germany will arrive probably also about in the same timeframe then AF1, probably before because Obama is usually the last one to join the table. So probably other heads of state (exception Japanese PM) would start arriving from 17hrs and later...

And I would place my bets on all delegations leaving shortly after end of meeting (Italy, UK, Germany, France just about an hour to max 2 hours after ending of the meeting I think they will be outbound). Obama was to speech again I heard (however couldn't confirm this so far). But at the same time he is also expected to arrive in Paris Orly that evening so don't expect him to make a speech of many hours ... so daytime departure should work out, hope as soon as possible after end of meeting ...
Japanese, again can't tell ... if they intend to visit some things in Belgium or do they want to leave home on time so they arrive back at Tokyo before the weekend starts ... ?

Support flights (C-17's) should start to arrive almost, think they should be in about the weekend or so ... since the meeting already is Wednesday.
They should also arrive on the Thursday evening and/or Friday morning and all depart about 2hrs after arrival. Don't know if this time there will be heli's, as no 'far' visits are planned except for a drive to EU hq at downtown Brussels ...

Hope this clears out some things ;)
If you have nothing else to do those days, just be there and keep vigilant ;)

Greets, Yannick

I am also interested in some timings!
Previous visit of Obama I was able to see Air Force One arriving and departing (thanks for the info!), and maybe this time when it isn't dark.
I am still hoping to see Air Force One landing at Beauvechain one day :D

What special aircraft is expected?

Hi,

Indeed we will for sure see it in daylight this time.
My advice just turn up from whenever time of the day you are available and by latest 20hrs LT you will have seen him.

Perhaps off-topic, but allow me to say that we, Brusselaars and Schuman quarter inhabitants, are fed up with these "summits" of all kinds : European, G7 or 8 or more, heads of states, African, Chinese, American and tutti quanti : nearly every week, whole urban zones are blocked (not only the European quarter but also around their hotels) with the ensuing huge traffic jams. Much more annoying than the Wathelet plan !
IF IT AIN'T BOEING, I'M NOT GOING.

Grts,
Indeed but the problem is that I will have to make time for it because I don't have time the whole evening.

So it's sure that Obama will arrive in the evening of 04/06/14 and he will probably depart in the evening / late afternoon of 05/06/14.
I hope Japan and other countries will arrive on 04/06/14 but it seems that you think that Japan will arrive on 03/06/14.

Yesterday already a C17 landed :)

It is probaby the traditional aircraft of the press following the American President abroad. In March, it was a Delta 763. ;)
