This will be the second time Lufthansa sends an A380 to BRU then.

Is it going to operate on a scheduled Lufthansa flight, or coming over on a PR visit because it is named Brüssel?

Any ceremony planned in relation to its visit?

No A380 mentioned on their booking site @ 14 nor 15/9/2012 towards BRU and MUC..
Can't fly empty no ??
Hope more info soon..

Emirates has started its daily Dubai-AMS today, with A380. Does the fire dep restrictions at BRU mean that a divertion from AMS to BRU is not possible when AMS is closed (fog, snow)?

If the fire department isn't certified, then I'd suppose a chartered A380 is not allowed as well, nor a LH promotion flight to BRU? Which clearly already has happened.

SN going to asia is unlikely, since they clearly stated focusing in Africa and Northern America in the coming years.
