Boeing hopes of getting its B737 MAX back into service in the Chinese market could fall victim to the ongoing tensions between the US and China, say analysts.

Caribbean Airlines (Trinidad & Tobago) says its contract for 12 B737 MAX 8s is still in effect. Talks with lessors for its existing B737-800 fleet are ongoing as CAL plans to reduce the fleet from 12 to nine, as it awaits the MAX.

Never boring, the 737 stories: FAA is requiring US operators of 143 B737 Classic planes to check for possible wire failures stemming from an investigation into an Indonesia crash in January 2021.

Southwest Airlines has reached an agreement with Boeing to add 34 B737 MAX 7 aircraft to its 2022 orders. This increase resulted in 234 firm orders for the MAX 7 from the US airline in 2022. Additionally, the carrier accelerated 32 options into 2023, 16 options into 2024, 16 options into 2025, and added 32 new options into 2026 through 2027, bringing the total firm and option order book to 660 aircraft.

What would the 737 MAX be without Southwest and Ryanair?

Boeing has offloaded unclaimed B737 MAX jets whose buyers walked away or collapsed during the pandemic. The purchases have left the planemaker with around 10 stored MAX aircraft needing buyers.

The Boeing 737 MAX 10 successfully completed its first flight. But what is so extraordinary about the MAx 10? It has barely 12 seats more than the MAX 9. I don't understand the guys at Boeing making such a big effort to add only two rows of seats!
