The longest flight in Lufthansa's history

On 19 January 2011, a Lufthansa Airbus A340-600 completed the longest flight in the company’s history from Munich (Germany) to Honolulu (Hawaii). With a flight time of 14 hours and 48 minutes for this 13,000-kilometre journey, this was the longest non-stop Lufthansa flight to date in terms of both time and distance.
