multi destination trip, how to ?

Currently planning a trip in Brazil, I have a little issue
Let me expain:

BRU => LIS => RIO and back is 740 euro

If I want to add Florianopolis as the final destination, it's only 810, so 70 euro more. very cheap.
If I buy alone the RIO-Florianopolis (round)trip, it's 250 euro.

Problem is ... I need the florianopolis only for the way in.
The other FLN-RIO, I want to do it in the middle of my stay.

2 options :

- I buy the whole BRU-FLN and do only one of the RIO-FLN and buy another one way for the other. (no problem not showing off ?)
- or I try to somehow move the date for that leg ... possible ?

Any suggestions ?

I am not experienced with Brasil but your first option sounds too dangerous to me. I guess it opens the possebility you were "no show" and canceled.

you think it may cancel the whole trip if I miss one flight ?
that's a big risk indeed.

Why don't you book a multi-destination trip altogether? It allows you to choose the date for each segment.

I'm still trying ... some tests show it's much more expensive, i don't know

Yeah, I was looking at something like that too and I think it's usually cheaper to juts book a multi-trip alltogether. Then you can travel as much as you like and it's all included. Gives you that extra bit of freedom as well and you don't need to have it all so planned.

I finally did that

but I have to pay an extra 138 euro for the missing leg, instead of 50 euro if it was part of a round trip

anyway, it's still ok
