Birmingham airport is actually closed due to a private plane crash.
Both SN2047 AND SN2049 from Brussels were cancelled.

It is a Cessna aircraft crash.

At least 2 people hurt in the crash. All incoming flights diverted.

Plane was transporting a liver for transplant. Liver was delivered to destination hospital under police escort.
