Iberia offers flights to central London City Airport

Under code share with BA CityFlyer
Iberia offers flights to central London City Airport

* Two daily flights from Madrid and one from Barcelona
* Iberia now offers more than 20 flights each way with London under its own and shared codes

Starting this week, Iberia is offering flights to the centrally-located London City Airport under a code share with British Airways, via its subsidiary BA CityFlyer.

Iberia has put its IB code on two daily (except Sundays) London City flights from its Terminal 4 hub in Madrid-Barajas, and one daily flight from the new Terminal 1 in Barcelona-El Prat.

Iberia already offers 13 daily flights each way between Madrid and London-Heathrow –eight of its own and five under code shares with British Airways– plus seven daily flights from Barcelona. The new flights to London City airport thus bring the total to 23 daily flights between Spain and the British capital.

Flying times vary depending on the day of the week. See Iberia's website Iberia.com for details and to book seats.

did they say what aircraft they will be using? I'm assuming it will be an a319, after seeing their performance of a short approach at Arricife, I can imagine them turning finals at the Citigroup building... and thats short!
