Low pass

Post by CaptJY »

Hello,

I'm looking for the owner of a C-172 or 182 which flew yesterday afternoon around my house and made 3-4 circles at a height of... lets say less than 500ft !!
For info, I live just on the edge of EBBR CTR and in the EBBE CTR (quite active lately)- HAASRODE reporting point to be precise !!

Got a nice picture of him (with registration marks) that I'd like to send him with some remarks ;-)

Thanks for any info,

He has some nice pictures of your topless wife, which he wants to send to you with some remarks as well!
If you couldn't see the difference between a 172 and a 182 he was probably higher than 500ft...

I guess when he was lower than 500ft (which is prohibited in Belgium) AND in the EBBE CTR, you are about the last person he should be worrying about. I've done some 500ft flying, and that's pretty low if you ask me...

Well, I'm lucky that my wife wasn't home... ;-)
Indeed, he should be worried because if I wasn't a pilot myself, I would have called EBBE tower right away to ask them about that traffic, like some nimby ppl would do...
We've all done low passes above our house or friend's house, but not that low and that many times that it could scare the neighboors!!!

Perhaps training for the EBBE Airshow this weekend.. Mostprobably the pilot was getting familiar with the environment ..

If the aircraft was there after 17u00 good luck phone-ing the TWR because EBBE TMA is closed than !

If you have the registration ( you said its on the photo) , then it should be not a big problem to find the owner.

That deserves a free seat during one of his next training flights.
And a beer afterwards in the club house. And than your question: Can I see the pictures? :)
