Re: Belgian A330 damaged by technicians

Ah these techies! They keep on breaking things! Why are they ever allowed near such delicate machinery?
Re: Belgian A330 damaged by technicians
Yes Jan,
Good thing that there're pilots around to fix it all!!

Belga says: "tail heavily damaged".regi wrote:damage report?
It seems that the damaged Airbus A330 is a back-up plane leased from Hi Fly.
The "original" A330 is still in service.
Hi Fly is now supposed to put another a/c at the disposal of the Belgian Air Force.
Re: Belgian A330 damaged by technicians
So If I understand correct, HiFly has currently 2 A330's stationed at BRU for the BAF? Seems a bit strange...

But it is, CS-TFZ came in last Sunday morning, then the unfortunate accident happened later that day.Bralo20 wrote:So If I understand correct, HiFly has currently 2 A330's stationed at BRU for the BAF? Seems a bit strange...

Re: Belgian A330 damaged by technicians
So if that aircraft is staying in BRU, it seems that the rumors were correct that BAF is planning to operate 2 A330's... It's a near brandnew plane with the first flight less then one year ago (24 March '09).Skystef wrote:But it is, CS-TFZ came in last Sunday morning, then the unfortunate accident happened later that day.
