Press Release:
Jet Airways unveils the first ever picture featuring all six Jet Airways aircrafts at Brussels Airport
Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, is proud to send the very first picture of all six aircraft operating from and to Brussels Airport.
Jet Airways started operations in Brussels Airport on August 5th, 2007. By the end of 2007, the carrier was operating 6 direct daily flights out of Brussels: Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai in India, and Newark, New York JFK and Toronto in North America. However, until February 11th, 2010, no photographer managed to take a picture of all six aircraft at the same time on the tarmac of Brussels Airport.
This performance has now been achieved by the head of Communication & PR of Brussels Airport, Mr Jan Van der Cruysse. In the morning of Thursday February 11th, 2010, he managed to capture all six aircrafts in one picture, five Airbus A330 being parked at their respective gates, the sixth aircraft taxiing towards the runway.
Mr Stefan Hollands, General Manager Benelux, Jet Airways, said: "We were pleasantly surprised to receive this picture, particularly in this period of the year when the weather conditions in Brussels have been affecting a number of long haul flights out of Brussels Airport. Jet Airways was able to operate almost normally under these extreme weather conditions and no flights have been cancelled, including to New York were heavy snowfalls have been disrupting regular flight operations".
