A new spotting location at BRU ?

Post by sergioboeing »

Dear All,

This picture was taken last Sunday afternoon (26/07/2009) at the well known "127 bis at Steenokerzeel".
Do you see the 2 guys on the top of the hill?
BTW, does anybody know what kind of construction works they do?

Serge

Hello,

They are building a second refugee center. 127bis is supposed to be closed down when the new center opens.

refugee center 127 (located at the airport itselfs in melsbroek) will close, but the center 127bis will remain active. The new center is just to make one bigger refugee center in stead of 3 different ones. So normally the spotting place at the 127bis will stay as well

Since the old and new 127bis are close to each other, I expect they will make them as one unit, with one big fence around it. If this is the case, it won't be possible to walk along the road to the 'spottersplace'.
