Dear all,
Apologies if this has been reported before, which it may.
As part of the LH/SN deal, the Avros will in due course be replaced by P&W-powered CSeries, according to a source at United Technologies/P&W.
Again, sorry if this is old news.
Cheers,
Chris

Re: SN to get CSeries to replace Avros
Hm, this would be new to me. It could well be however, this would need to be than the option of the additional 30 C-Series in the LH order. The 30 C-Series ordered so far will all go to LX has been stated. The option of the additional 30 could either be for another (future) LH subsidiary as SN, bmi or OS or they could go to LH mainline themselves to replace the 737s there. LH regional (cityline, eurowings, air dolomiti, Augsburg Airways, cirrus) will all receive Embraers (see here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=39036).chrisflyer wrote:Dear all,

I do not think however it has been confirmed or agreed already anywhere that SN is to receive C100 or C300 aircraft to replace the Avros. And the C100 with 115 places in the now ordered configuration for LX would be far to big to replace the ARJ85s anyway? So some additional CRJ700s would be needed here for example?

Re: SN to get CSeries to replace Avros
An A380-800 in the "old" SN colors would be nice though
(Not the Brol Air scheme please)
Or a B747-800 would be even better

Like this:Bralo20 wrote:An A380-800 in the "old" SN colors would be nice though(Not the Brol Air scheme please)

?
But as for LH subsidiaries:
http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/20 ... -avro.html
Eurowings: CRJ900 to replace a mix of BAe146-200 and -300
Lufthansa Cityline: Embraer 190/195 to replace Avro RJ85 and CRJ200
Air Dolomiti: E190/195 to replace BAe-146-300
Augsburg Airways: E-jets to be added to all-Dash-8 fleet.
Swiss takes the 30 firm orders of Cseries. What about Sabena, Lot, Slovenian, Croatian, Austrian and Bmi?
Re: SN to get CSeries to replace Avros
Why such a stupid post? This is a forum where aviation enthusiasts like to discuss the aviation industry. Most of the planes in your list are ridiculous and haven't passed here yet, but some of the smaller planes are a viable option for SN, when the Avro's and the B737's are due to be replaced. If people want to discuss official news on this forum, there is another section for it.FlightSimCrew wrote:AND SO FAR SN will buy/get according to the "expers" on this forum:
