Will this be in co-operation with SN Brussels Airlines? The two are already codesharing on BRU-BLL.

Maersk Air self (in coo SAB) started services BLL-BRU-BLL back on October 28 1990 (with F50), and they are for the 14th consecutive year present @ the airport.
Till april last year they often used the B737-500, nowadays downgraded to the Canadair.
So no new jacket Ivo,

Malmö Aviation flights are operated by and in codeshare with Virgin Express.
Maersk seems to introduce the route with very interesting fares: I checked Galileo for e.g. dep. 6 May and return 7 May, and I got the following quotes in €, all taxes included:
Maersk: 104.56
Virgin Express: 161.60
SN Brussels Airlines: 167.00
Malmö Aviation: 175.70
SAS: 301.00 (tought times!)
Lufthansa via FRA: 513.50 (even tougher!)
KLM via AMS: 893.28 (why would anyone do that?)

I thought that VEX was supposed to be low-cost

8O You have to be a millionaire to fly with KLM 8O
Well, if Maersk is codesharing with VEX, this wouldn't not introduce much more competition.
Anyway it's nice to see the B737-500 of Maersk back at BRU
Ciao

I checked their timetable and it is quite different to the SNBA and VEX schedules on the BRU-CPH route. Daytrips are almost impossible with DM, so SN and VEX will keep that advantage.
DM 131 CPH-BRU 08:00 - 09:20
DM 132 BRU-CPH 10:15 - 11:35
DM 133 CPH-BRU 13:50 - 15:10
DM 134 BRU-CPH 15:50 - 17:10
(From Monday to Friday)
Like SilverJET mentionned before, the flight will be operated with a B737-700.

In addition to that I just found out that Maersk Air just revealed it's new colour scheme today. It'll painted on all B737-700's.
Here's you can find the first picture:

It's quite nice if you ask me
, but it seems that the new trend is definately blue, even if they allready had that colour for a very long time ago...

Why should Maersk be codesharing with VEX?
1) On BRU-BLL they codeshare with SN
2) On BRU-CPH, VEX is already codesharing with Malmö Aviation

Sorry
I didn't read it very well, yesterday. When you mentioned the codeshare between Malmö and Vex I thought you were talking about Maersk and VEX
Anyway, I also read yesterday that Maersk will chnage its business to a LCC.

Apparently SN is no longer codesharing with Maersk on the Brussels - Billund route since this summer. Does anyone knows the reason for that?

Indeed, I checked also on the maersk-air site and the prices are really low. The lowest price i could find for a one way trip is 29.00 EUR. This is good news for passangers travelling to Copenhagen!!
