Hi,

Goed nieuws!

Good news! According to De Tijd, SN Brussels Airlines aims to achieve a net profit of 5 million € in 2004.

END of translation.

I also think that this would be great thing, but let's stay with our feets on earth. The year has just begun, and there will still be a lot of hard work to be done to achieve this goal. What makes me more happier is to hear that SNBA might have had a small profit in 2003 8)

That's great news!!!! Let's wait for the annual report to learn more on this financial results.

But finaly it seems that Mr Davis have reached his promise of a break even or profit for this year.

It's good to hear positive news from belgian aviation sometimes...

Let's wish a great year 2004 to SNBA.

Greetings
Airbuske :)

Thanks Chris.

sabena4ever has earlier published a forum topic and I had already posted an article in the latest news stating that SN BA would break even in 2003, as announced by management to the staff at a breakfast meeting.

How can De Tijd already forecast a profit of € 5m in 2004? The year has just started!

Because it makes people want to buy their paper
Perhaps some analyst extrapolated that if many if's were to apply they may have a certain profit

Hey guys,

I think there is a misunderstanding! Not De TIJD, but SN Brussels Airlines expects 5 million euro profit. De TIJD only wrote the article. The optimism is based on the reservations for the next months. At the end of January, SNBA received more than 130 000 bookings for February. That's 23 percent more than the same month in 2003.

That is reckoning without any unforeseen events like Sept. 11 or SARS. I would not dare making such forecasts, even if the situation looks good at present.

André: 100% certainty is of course impossible, but I guess that this prediction is based on extrapolation?

Nice to hear they are doing so well SNBA! I am sure if they keep up the high standards they have a good future ahead!

Maybe they will make more profits over a 3y term then SN did over their whole history!!!!
