Bruchpilot muss vor Gericht

Post by SN30952 »

(Note: German is the third national language in Belgium - but there is always Balbel Fish)

Ciao

Allright, sorry  I just wanted to answer Fons in GErman that's all.

But as you asked for it I will do a translation of my post only FOR YOU ;):

I hope the pilot will get a hard punishment for his mistake, he could have avoided that accident by landing back at the departure airport.

Happily there weren't any casualties (as far as I remember)

hey there are - more than you estimate - member's in the luchtzak forum which speak german :-)
and an idea might be - we open a forum which is called write in any language you like to use ;-) or maybe we reduce it to all official languages of the european union - should match to the first sentence, too :P

Tschuess,

I know that there are quite a few ;)

It could indeed be funny for a while :P , but do you really think that it would be interesting after several months. I don't think so. I mean, Bart asked us to speak English so that the topics can be read by a maximum amount of people, and personally I think this should be kept like this ;)

Yes, the next request would Spanish, and next year* Chinese.
But what surprised me was that an experienced pilot (59) can make such mistakes. Treibstoffmangels means carencia o escasez del combustible, so fuelshortage.
That airplane was running out of fuel. These kind of mishap usually happen to blondes, isn't it?

*that gives you 366 days to learn it!

Jumbolino, will there still be Internet like we have it now? Or will we just have fo talk, and the system will write it digitally down, and the ones who will want to know, will just click and hear the text in their language.

The same for conversations: now in the Far East people type in their text in Japanese, for E. and then push the botton and hand the screen to the vistor who can read the text in his language... in 10-20 years or even less the screen will talk...

15years ago one had to be an expert to calculate an interline airroute fare, now everybody can book and check fares via Internet...

But coming back to that pilot: low fuel that is unforgivable...

André, not real, but when I was a child my mother worked in a company for their russian based business (but not in Russia, based in lower austria, but often she had gotten from their managers caviar and "champagne" from the Krim .... ) so with a little help of sistran (world.altavista.com is based on systran) it was not that difficult to write kyillic
