Hi, Lame. Finally I have a neighbour!

Lame lives in Brisbane.
Is Lame my closest neighbour?

BRU-CNX would some 8716km and 10:46 flying time; CNX-BNE some 7756km and 9:35.
When it is 18:00 (Monday 06:00PM) in BRU/EBBR, it is Midnight inCNX and in BNE it is Tuesday 03:00AM.
So Lame, you will be the first luchtzak member to be in 2004, then its me, or am I wrong?
And you will be reading the news before me?
Welcome aboard.

btw, Any idea what luchtzak means?

Thank you all again for your warm welcome. :D

Yes I will probably be the first member to celebrate 2004 then, unless you have members in New Zealand, or places like Fiji?

No, I do not have a clue what Luchtzak means? :?:

Welcome to luchtzak Lame !

To solve your problem about what luchtzak means you'll have to find the topic that explained it a while ago, or just click on the following link

Okay, I can live with that. :D

I have never been sick on an Aircraft, no matter how rough the flight.

Hi Lame!
I beat you to 2004 by an hour, due to NSW having Daylight Savings. I'm in Sydney by the way, under the flight path. In fact, Sydney Airport has had an "Aircraft Noise" tax on every passenger for some time - and some of that money has gone to double glazing, noise insulation and airconditioning of my home. A waste of money, but the house is more comfortable! Aircraft Noise used to be a major political battleground in Sydney.

Anyway, I was still partying for Brisbane's New Year .... not sure if I made it for Singapore's.... I went to bed about 4am. Luckily, next day there was no ground based "luchtzak" ;)

Only because you Mexicans play with your clocks........

I don't know how you can live that close to an airport, having worked on them all my Life, I like to live a LONG way away from them.

That's the idea I'm advocating since months for BRU. Concentrate all the flights on the Noordrand (the least populated area) and give them money to insulate (and aircondition  ) their homes.

But I do not expect our stupid politicians (and Bert in the first place) to follow that sensible idea
