AAV – VA of Deception

Post by Vito321 »

Several months ago there was a major shake-up of an up and coming virtual Airline that bares the name of American Airlines. Although the true reason for the shake was never made public, there was an ownership power struggle between those whom originally started the va and those who offered to assume the originators role while he overcame hardship.
The problem started when the so called “ceo” made a statement about the performance of a handicapped staff person and expressed his desire to eliminate him.
The dethroned founder immediately came to the defense of the targeted individual and prove to be the catalyst for what was to follow. Many False accusations went Flying over the general discussion forum and many self incriminating comments were deleted by the ceo. Many feeling were hurt on both sides and ultimately resulted in a mass exodus by senior and original members.

Since then all ex-members have found new homes elsewhere and AAV continues to display their names as members in order to give the appearance of a healthy membership. Memos were sent out to the AAV members to try and shed some light on the occurrences of the shake up but were given half truths and one sided explanations. All devised to prevent the members from knowing the truth. Fact of the matter is that there were mistakes made by both parties and was never given the opportunity to discuss things and come to terms. Instead the existing ceo took the opportunity to stir up the membership by making pubic accusations and targeting members then quickly deleting all comments made by him so it would give the appearance that he was the victim. He also did a disappearing act so that the majority of the members would see the response to his original posts. Ironically many members only read the result of the ceo’s false and deleted claims and viewed those members on the defensive as an act of mutiny.

Today AAV continues to lose it’s membership due to disagreements and continues to hide the truth from the membership. They continue keeping them on the roster so that no one knows who left and why.

In closing AAV needs to come clean and revise it’s actual membership and accept the fact that no one’s perfect, including aav.
