BRU 22/10/07

Post by Outsync »

Today around 8.30 am OO-TUA declared emergency and landed safely in BRU!

When I went to take a look the plane looked quite fine, my guess there was something wrong with the front landing gear because thats the first thing the fire marshalls and BIAC Security went to take a look at...

I saw the OO-TUA making an overshoot on the 25L around 8:15. Maybe it was a fly by to allow the tower to check the gears?

As far as I heard OO-TUA had a tire-birst on the nose landing gear on takeoff, allready at a speed past V1. The Pilot slammed the throttles to full (which most likely is 100% conform to procedure) which eventually resulted in an overspeed of one engine.

Don't ask me for more explanation, that's all I know ...
