Are there any Belgian 50 seater operators left other VLM ??

Post by beaucaire »

The title basically describes my interest - I look for a regional Belgian operator with 30-80 seater aircraft for some special flights from Belgium to the South of France (Charter ).
I prefer a Belgian company, since otherwise the positioning of the aircraft would cost a lot of money..

hi beaucaire,

AFAIK no !

to my knowledge, the "smallest" passenger planes operated by a Belgian Cy are 90/100seaters:

Fokker 100: Jetairfly (based in LGG)
Bae 146: TNT (based in LGG)

not to mention the Bae/Avro fleet of SN (BRU): however Ibelieve they are acutely needed for their scheduled flights (they needed to drop some flights because lack of PNT)

someone else knows more ?

Just my 2 cents:

Try Abelag, maybe they can help you, you never know.

Are there any airlines with such a small plane that stays overnight at BRU? They are allowed to fly at night and are anyway standing there... Don't know about the crew though.

Any airports in the vicinity of Belgium? Dusseldorf, Maastricht, Lille, with airlines that operate with small planes?

Hope something of this might help.
Greets,

Pieter

I guess 19 seater would be too small for beaucaire's use!

should be something even bigger than Do328, saab 340, dash8 - 100/200.

better to his taste would be saab 2000, dash8 (300 & 400), atr (better 72 than 42), crj 100/200/700/900, emb 145,170 even 175, a.s.o...

am I right?

Hi all,

We, The Aviation Factory, are the largest Air Charter Broker in the benelux region and guess what... We're a 100% belgian company! Every year we carry thousands of passengers for incentive groups, sport teams, government flights, etc.

Check our website www.the-aviation-factory.com and send us your request if needed. We'll be glad to help!

For this specific request you don't have to ask only Belgian operators. Many airlines might have a plane in the region or have very cheap positioning compared to other companies...

Have a great day ou all!!!
