Flight log: airline or aircraft?

Post by nic_biso »

I suppose many of you have a flight log… In case you fly an airline and the a/c isn’t actually from that particular airline, it’s leased… What would you write down in your log, the original airline or the airline which the a/c belongs to?

It happened to me to buy a ticket on SkyEurope, from BUD to CPH, but I actually flew on Sterling… And I also bought a ticket on WizzAir but the a/c was leased from Travel Service (the “famous” O2 logojet, OK-TVC).

As for me, I write in my log-book the airline name that is written on the aircraft - mentioning that the flight is for another company, if such is the case.
