Stock prices rise on higher earnings (not sales) expectations. The flat price of the Airbus stock indicates that investors believe that the contract prices are rock bottom and only small (or no) profits are expected.Acid-drop wrote:the order list in crazy full.
I dont understand why the stock is not rising
Anyway, these initial orders are promising for Airbus and reflect airline comfort with the proposed composite-over-aluminum frame construction.

Maybe actual facts could help the forum more?regi wrote:and here is the answer to the question "who will make all these airplanes?"

Yep, the Chinese.
The Chinese are bidding for some supplier plants of Airbus. IF they would win the bidding (wich is far from certain), they would simply own or co-own European factories with European workers working in them. How does that ad up to 'Chinese making all these airplanes'?
Boeing has outsourced almost every part of the making proces to different companies around the world. And it has brought them big succes, wouldn't you say?
In the future, you might actually try reading articles before posting them... Just a thought.
And a recommitment to the A380 orders, wich is very good news for the A380.teach wrote:8 more A330-300s for Thai Airways
I find it very strange though that less then a month ago they were talking about cancelling the 330 MOU and rethinking the A380 order.
Seems ordering airplanes & playing poker have more in common than one might suspect

Construction started on Airbus A320 Family Final Assembly Line in China - 15 May 2007...
Construction has started on the Airbus A320 Family Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Tianjin......
The FAL in Tianjin will be identical to the latest state-of-the-art Airbus single aisle final assembly line in Hamburg, Germany. The aircraft will be assembled and delivered in China to the same standards as those assembled and delivered in Europe.
