Flying out of CPH

Flew from CPH-LHR yesterday. On boarding, my whole boarding card was taken away at the gate and in return I was given a small piece of paper with name/flight no. seat and date on...why???

Every passenger? Or just you? Which airline? I've been on flights were I've been given the 'big part' of the boarding pass back instead of the stub. Sounds a bit odd!

It was on BA and it was all the passengers...first time I'd seent that at CPH.

I had the same with BA last time I checked in at CPH (beginning of May).
