Anyone of you already did a flight on Tunisair recently, share your opinions please
Hello,
I flew with Tunisair a few years ago. The flight going out from BRU was on a 737 and was ok, though the seat I was sat on, nearly came apart when I got up to go to the toilets. The food was ok but don't drink their tea which is disgusting.
But the return journey from Tozeur via Djerba to BRU was a disaster.
The Tunisair staff at the airport in Tunisia didn't make the check-in process easy. Once we were informed the plane was ready for boarding, the Tunisair person at the gate completely screwed up by giving us the wrong part of the plane ticket so when we walked onto the plane no one knew where they were sitting. People were in groups with families, certain people remembered their seat number but other contested them, etc... After a quick stop in Djerba we took off for the remaining part of the journer to BRU at around midnight. Everyone was quite tired by all the hassle and the pilot kept coming on the mic saying "ladies and gentlemen, we are now flying over Nice" and kept announcing flying over major cities throughout the night when the cabin lights were switched off and everyone was trying to sleep.
Not very impressed overall, though I may have been unlucky.

I flew on Tunisair from Valencia to Monastir and back in September 2003, both flights on the same Boeing 737-500 called 'Monastir'.
I wasn't too impressed with them, although the flights themselves were ok. The cabin crew seemed reluctant to do their job, such as giving a proper fight safety demo. Their English was very poor. The in-flight meal was not too bad, very limited, but then again these were quite short flights.

Heya!
Flew Tunisair in September 2006. Brussels - Tunis - Brussels on an Airbus A300. No problems except a short delay at Brussels but I didn't care (just an hour). Both flights ok, professional English speaking crew, good meal and very fast and friendly check-inn at Tunis.
I know their crew don't seem to "smile" often... but they do their job well. I would fly them again.
There can be a delay or incident at any airline. Don't judge on a single bad experience
