SN drops code-shares with AT, IB, FB, TP and OK.

Post by tolipanebas »

In a press release, SN has just reconfirmed 20 of their 25 code share agreements for the summer season starting 25th of March.

It silently also means they loose 5 important partners:
RAM ( less frequencies to Casablanca)
Iberia (less frequencies to Barcelona and Madrid and no more transfer pax)
Flying Bulgarian (no more Sofia)
TAP (less frequencies to Lissabon and no more transfer pax)
OK (less frequencies to Praag)

What about KM? I still don't see flights to Malta appearing on the BA website...

I am not so sure about the no more transfer pax, scrapping a codeshare doesn't mean you scrap interlinings or SPA's. It just means you don't sell on eachothers metal anymore. I would be amazed if Brussels also cancelled the interline agreements.

Probably not, but since TP for instance will no longer code share with SN on Norhtern European destinations, chances are high all of the TAP pax will now route through their STAR alliance partner LH iso of through SN which they have no link whatsoever with.

The 20 code share partners of brussels airlines are:
American Airlines
Hainan Airlines
Etihad Airways
Air Senegal International
El Al
Finnair
British Airways
Swiss
Malev
Sun Air of Scandinavia
Alitalia
Malmö Aviation
LOT Polish Airlines
Tarom
Pulkovo
Air Malta
Ukraine International
Croatia Airlines
Lithuanian Airlines
Cyprus Airways

You could add Flybe., that will take ober BA Connect's route from MAN to BRU and the codeshare with SN.

And V7 (Air Senegal) to Dakar.

Well, apparently I erred. The timetables published on Brussels Airport's website don't mention the codeshare anymore.

Indeed, SN will fly in competition with flyBE on the MAN route.
